My recruitment journey started with a simple fascination: people. What makes someone brilliant at what they do, how careers evolve, and how the right opportunity at the right time can completely change someone’s future.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve built my career specialising in legal business support recruitment across London and internationally, partnering with law firms to hire everyone from aspiring apprentices and administrators through to senior leadership roles. Along the way, I’ve become known for understanding not just the CV, but the person behind it — and the culture, ambition and potential that can’t always be captured on paper.

In 2024, I launched SC Staff & Consult to do recruitment differently. More personally. More strategically. More humanly. A consultancy built on relationships, market insight and honest conversations — helping law firms build exceptional support teams, while helping candidates build careers they’re genuinely excited about.

Recruitment for me has never just been a job. It’s an industry, a network and a community I genuinely love being part of. 

Talent has always fascinated me — not just finding it, but understanding how the right people can transform careers, teams and businesses.

I love helping people step into opportunities they may never have considered possible, while supporting law firms to build stronger, more modern business support teams. Watching careers flourish and firms evolve because of the right talent decisions is what still drives me after all these years in recruitment.

I’m particularly passionate about early careers, apprenticeships and creating clearer pathways into the legal sector. 

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me horse riding, getting confused by a reformer pilates machine,  networking or deep in a conversation about the legal market.
